In Flanders Field, Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae

gratitude from Eric for the support he is receiving.

Dear MODS and so many...

On behalf of Eric, please keep holding him and the

families of those lost close in your hearts.

I received only the shortest email after his return

from the first SEAL funeral in Virginia Beach...

As we approach the tenth anniversary of those

lost in the attack on 9/11, this is a particularly

poignant time for all of us and I feel we have

never been MODS For Life more than now.

We have seen so many MODS comment that

they have felt our love and prayers so it's a

tried and true blessing that as a MOD Nation

we do have the privilege of comforting so many

grieving at this time. I do not know how many
funerals Eric will be attending but do imagine
he needs us now.

On a personal note, since I am not on FACEBOOK
nor any of the chat rooms, many gracious thanks to
those of you who have sent me comments from these
sites. You know who you are. And I am deeply
grateful.
